Media personality and politician, Dele Momodu, has reacted after former Rivers State governor and ADC presidential aspirant, Rotimi Amaechi, said he insulted him during a recent interview.

Amaechi had stated during an appearance on Arise TV that he watched Momodu criticize him over comments he made about other aspirants in the African Democratic Congress (ADC), including former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.

Reacting through his X account, Momodu denied abusing Amaechi. He explained that he only appealed to him not to make insulting remarks against Atiku, whom he described as a respectful and calm politician.

Momodu also said he and Amaechi have always been open and honest with each other as friends and brothers. According to him, his comments were made out of sincerity and not to attack or disrespect the former minister.
