Legal practitioner Liborous Oshoma has alleged that the dramatic removal of former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole as APC National Chairman stands as a cautionary tale to warn the ADC about underestimating lower-level party structures.
Speaking in an interview from 23:06 with Channels TV, Oshoma said, “Oshiomhole was removed by a vulcanizer who happened to be the ward chairman in Edo State. So you can not undermine the position of party leaders at the ward level and at the state level. They can act as spoilers, and your enemies can even recruit them to act as spoilers. And I think that is what is happening here in the ADC.”
Oshoma argued that the coalition compounded an already fragile situation by buying into a party that was disorganised from the start, handing their opponents the opening they needed to recruit disgruntled members and work from within to sink the project.
