Dele Farotimi, a renowned human rights activist and writer has taken to his official X handle to make a remarkable comment regarding the resilience displayed by Iran in the ongoing conflict with the United States. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that they cannot be easily defeated.
As the United States and Iran returned to the negotiation table to find solutions to the prolonged war that had caused severe damages, a lot of mixed reactions were generated as many believed an amicable resolution was urgently needed.
However, Dele Farotimi, a respected human rights activist and legal practitioner in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, pointed out that the resilience displayed by Iran played a major role in the conflict.
According to his statements, while slamming Nigerians for allowing themselves to be undone by the political class, pointed out that Iran, regardless of their numerous disadvantages, refused to be subdued.
Iran, according to Dele Farotimi, had displayed unparalleled resilience and strategic intelligence, hence, it was impossible for the United States to defeat them easily.
The conflict, it can be recalled, had raged on for weeks, with severe damages done to infrastructures on both sides. However, the loss of innocent lives led many to call for an immediate resolution to end the conflict.
