A report that was published on the official X account of DAILY POST on Monday, March 23, 2026 has captured the moment one of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Gbenga Hashim Olawepo was saying that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu won’t perform well in a free and fair election.
He made the statement while speaking about the chances of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming presidential election.
In the report that surfaced online, the PDP chieftain said in a free and fair election, the President won’t get 20% of the total votes. He said those hailing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu know that he has not performed well.
He said the All Progressive Congress, APC keeps saying that the opposition is dead in Nigeria and yet, the party is afraid of the next general elections. Gbenga Hashim Olawepo said the opposition is not dead in Nigeria.
According to DAILY POST, the PDP chieftain said that;
“All the internet or data boys praise President Tinubu as a strategist. He has done the polls, and he knows that in a free and fair election today, the APC cannot score 20 per cent of the votes”. Read_More…
