There have been several reactions from social media users as Nigerian lawyer, Jibrin Samuel Okutepa celebrates 13 years of being elevated to the rank of Senior Advocates of Nigeria, SAN.
The lawyer took to his official X handle on Sunday to congratulate himself and celebrate the milestone.
In the post that he shared on his page, he said the journey began in 2011 when the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee of the Honourable Body of Benchers found him and 29 other eminent legal practitioners worthy in Knowledge and character and elevated them to the rank of Senior Advocates of Nigeria.
Here is what Jibrin Samuel Okutepa wrote on his page;
“I have every reason to be grateful and thankful to the Almighty God for all he has done for me. Thirteen years ago, precisely the 7th day of July 2011, the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee of the Honourable Body of Benchers found me and 29 other eminent legal practitioners worthy in Knowledge and character and announced our elevation to the rank of Senior Advocates of Nigeria. It can only be God. The same God has kept me and has been my protector and defender. I am nothing without God. In all, I see God at work. To be a lawyer was the handwork of God”.
