In a recent interview from 24:55 on News Central TV, PDP chieftain Adetokunbo Pearse strongly criticised the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, questioning both its credibility and governance record.

During the discussion, Pearse raised doubts about the president’s personal records, stating, “The man said he is 72 years old and his first daughter is 62. So he had his first daughter at the age of 10?” He used the remark to suggest inconsistencies in publicly available information about the president.

Pearse went further to accuse the current administration of corruption and lack of transparency, describing it as untrustworthy. He contrasted this with the tenure of former President Goodluck Jonathan, which he claimed was more stable and economically productive.

According to him, Nigeria experienced relative peace during Jonathan’s administration and recorded stronger economic performance at the time. He argued that the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was higher than that of South Africa during that period, presenting it as evidence of better governance.
