Ibrahim Modibbo, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has stated that he regrets supporting President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 presidential election.
In an interview from 41:13 with AIT, Modibbo said he was formerly a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and campaigned for Tinubu across the country through radio and television programmes.
Modibbo stated that he has asked God to forgive him because he did not expect the Tinubu administration to turn out the way it has. He said, in his opinion, Tinubu has not performed well and Nigerians should forgive him for supporting Tinubu’s election
In Modibbo’s words: “I was also a member of the APC. I made campaigns all over the country in radio and television for Tinubu but I beg God to forgive me because I did not know that this is how it is going to turn”
