According to a video from 00:06:41 posted on Fox News on Sunday, August 2, 2026, Mark Levin argued against any early ceasefire or negotiations with Iran, saying the United States must first achieve clear military and financial goals.

Levin said Iran’s government has a long history of failing to honor agreements, pointing to what he called nearly five decades of broken commitments.

He argued that any deal reached now would likely be violated either immediately or over time, based on that pattern.

In his words, Mark Levin said, “Diplomatically, no ceasefire for at least 30 days and perhaps longer. No negotiating for at least 30 days and perhaps longer.

” We need to meet our objectives first on the battlefield, financially, militarily and in every other way.”

Levin said Iran’s government is watching the American election calendar closely, hoping delays and political pressure at home will force an early end to the campaign.

He argued that media commentary and isolationist voices in the United States give the regime false hope that it can wait out the pressure.

He said the American public would support a genuine victory over a rushed settlement, and repeated his call for continued strikes on financial centers, military leadership, and oil infrastructure during this period.

Levin argued that pausing too soon would allow the regime to regroup and continue funding its military and security forces.

In a recent post on his official Truth handle, President Trump revealed he called off strikes on Iran, noting there were making progress in negotiations.
