In an interview from 42:04 with Nedu Wazobia on The Clarity Zone Podcast, Osama Akpunonu, a comedian popularly known as Osama, stated that his wife died at the age of 28 and it was difficult for him to accept that she was dead.
Osama stated that they were married for only 10 months. He said they got married on May 15, 2021, and that she died on March 26, 2022.
Osama stated that he followed her corpse to the mortuary because he was still hoping she was alive. He said he even asked a worker at the mortuary to poke her with a knife to confirm whether she was dead.
In Osama’s words: “If my late wife can die at the age of 28 then who am I? I was married for 10 months. I married on 15th May, 2021 and my wife died on 26 March, 2022, she had meningitis.
