In a recent post on Facebook, Pastor Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, delivered a powerful message about the influence of one’s past on their present life. Addressing his congregation, Pastor Olukoya emphasized that while the past may seem like a distant memory, its effects can still linger unless one undergoes a spiritual transformation. His message highlighted the need for spiritual cleansing to break free from the negative influences of ancestral and personal histories.
According to him, “It is true that our past has gone and become history, but it is not dead. And until one is washed by the blood of Jesus and baptised by the Holy Ghost fire, the past will still be reporting him to the present. On this not, I pray for you that any voice of family idol summoning you to failure shall be silenced by fire, in the name of Jesus.”
