Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church (IESC) Worldwide, has raised an alarm over growing discontent within the upper echelons of the Nigerian military.

Speaking from 03:18 via his official Facebook page, the cleric warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of a brewing storm among Army Generals, urging the Commander-in-Chief to take immediate steps to “pacify” the military hierarchy to ensure national stability.

According to Primate Ayodele, several high-ranking officers are currently unhappy with the state of affairs and the direction of the current administration.

He emphasized that the President needs to engage the military more effectively, suggesting that neglecting their welfare or grievances could lead to unforeseen consequences for the nation’s democratic journey.

“The President should not take the silence of the military for granted,” Ayodele warned. “There are Army Generals who are angry.” He claimed that Tinubu must pacify them very well and address their concerns because their dissatisfaction could create ripples that the government is not prepared for.
