Mostly, we Africans have the habit of charging our phones till there is power shortage. We don’t care how long the light will stay on, we keep charging till it is off. And such things will only damage your phone battery when you keep charging for too long.
The battery also needs to rest. It is better to unplug your phone when it gets to 98%. You don’t have to wait till 100% and keep charging.
5. Don’t Leave Your Phone In Its Case When Charging
Learn to remove your phone case or cover before charging. Because with a phone case your phone will be warm or even increase the temperature of the phone while on charge, and this can cause damage to it. Let the phone be free, so air can get into it while it is charging.
6. Listening To Music With An Earphone When Charging
Charging your smartphone and listening to music using an earphone is very risky. Such a thing can damage your brain because of much radiation. On the other hand, a chance of electrocution can occur.
Similarly, it could be dangerous to use your earphone while charging because electricity is easily conducted from the electric socket to the earphones, especially if your charging plug was faulty. Many people have lost their lives because of such a mistake, so it is best to avoid it by all means.
7. Never Sleep Next To Your Charging Phone
