Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has said one of his daily prayers is for President Bola Tinubu to continue supporting the FCT Administration so it can deliver more projects for residents.
In a video from 11:15 shared by TVC News, speaking during the commissioning of the Water Supply Network in Bwari satellite town, Wike said he tells his wife every morning to keep praying that the President will not withdraw his support from the FCT. According to him, while his wife prays a lot, his own prayer is simply to return home safely each day.
The minister said Tinubu’s administration is not only building roads but is also improving other important sectors such as water supply. He noted that roads in Ushafa and Bwari have been completed, while the Bwari-Kubwa Road will soon be commissioned.
Wike said the large turnout of residents at the event showed that people were happy with the projects being delivered. He added that the purpose of government is to improve the lives of citizens, saying leaders are happiest when the people are satisfied.
The former Rivers State governor also said that no minister can perform well without the full backing of the President. He credited Tinubu for giving the FCT Administration the support needed to carry out development projects across the territory.
In his words, “Each day I wake up, I tell my wife, she prays a lot, I don’t know how to pray very well, the best prayer I can pray is God let me come back safely today. But she prays very well, I say continue to pray that Mr President will not look away from us….See More
