Engr. Chukwuebuka Akubu-Eze, NDC House of Representatives aspirant for Awka North/Awka South Federal Constituency of Anambra State, has recalled how Peter Obi supported him with a brand new car while he served as Student Union Government president of Anambra State University during Obi’s time as governor.
In a video from 7:06 shared by TV Platinum, Akubu-Eze said many people are unaware of the support and assistance Obi rendered to individuals during his time in office as governor of Anambra State, noting that some of the gestures were done quietly without public attention.
“While I was in university, Peter Obi bought a brand new car and gave it to me as SUG president, and that was even towards his ending. Most people do not even know about all the things he did.”
He stated that the former Anambra State governor impacted many lives through acts of support and encouragement especially among students and young people across the state, adding that several beneficiaries of Obi’s leadership style rarely speak publicly about the assistance they received during that period.
