Adewale Adeoye, a public affairs analyst, has stated that there is a church near his office in Maryland, Ikeja where Christians worship on Sundays and Muslims use the same church for Friday their prayers.
In an interview from 10:34 with Silverbird TV, Adeoye said there is also a mosque close to the church he attends. He said Christians and Muslims in the area exchange gifts during Christmas and other festival celebrations. He said both religious group maintain a friendly relationship.
In Adeoye’s words: “In the southwest here where my office is located there is a church there, people will worship inside that church on Sunday and on Fridays the mosque people will come there and pray, it is at Maryland.
