Nigerian gospel singer, Victor Thompson has decided to recount how his relatives pursued both him and his late mother out of their house after the death of his father, and how his mother later passed away because she could not bear their sufferings.

The songwriter who spoke about such issue during an interview with Nigerian media personality, Chude Jideonwo few hours ago, revealed that most of the lyrics of his song, “This Year” were brought my his wife, adding that they never knew that the song would go viral after it was uploaded online.

Speaking about his life while growing up, Victor Thompson revealed that he sold alcohol, served hookers and taught students just to survive, adding that they chased him and his demised mother out of their home when his father died.

In his own words, Victor Thompson mentioned that;

“I lost my parents when I was 12 or 13 years old. My dad passed on first then my mom, My dad died when I was 10 years old. When my dad died, they chased I and my mother out of the house. We didn’t even have a place to stay.

“So God so kind, a carpenter guy had an empty land. So at night, I would sneak my mom in. That was how we lived, but she could not cope, so she passed away.”….S££ MOR£
