Senate President Godswill Akpabio has spoken about the Nigerians in South Africa who are being targeted in xenophobic attacks by Black South Africans

In a video from 7:25 shared by TV Platinum, Akpabio said that in one incident, a Nigerian was dragged out of a kitchen and killed for no reason other than being in South Africa, while people watched and recorded it on their phones.

Akpabio said sometimes South African security agents who are fully armed watch and do nothing while Nigerians are being attacked there. He said the situation has reached a point where the international community, especially the United Nations, must step in and take action.
