FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has alleged that the former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi, has a pattern of avoiding political difficulty and gravitating toward whichever platform offers him the easiest path to power.

Speaking in media parley reported by Channels TV, Wike said, “Peter Obi likes food is ready, he doesn’t want struggles and this country has challenges. You must have the capacity to face those challenges. It is not that when you hear one problem, you say, ‘Oh, this problem is too much. Let me move somewhere more comfortable.'”

Wike contrasted that approach with his own experience in the PDP, where he said he faced a united front of governors with deep pockets working against him yet refused to leave the party.

Wike alleged that his refusal to back down, even under enormous pressure, is what separates a true leader from someone simply looking for convenience.
