In a powerful address during the RCCG 72nd Holy Ghost Convention on August 6, 2024, Pastor E. A. Adeboye condemned the current state of Christianity, accusing some pastors of Undermining true faith.

He highlighted a dangerous trend where certain pastors suggest that believers can continue in sin while claiming to be born again.

“People have turned Christianity into a joke,” Pastor Adeboye lamented. “There are even some preachers who now teach that you can be born again and continue in adultery. There’s a preacher who said, ‘don’t worry yourself, once you’re born again, continue with your sin but just keep on listening to sermons.’ The devil is a liar.”

Adeboye stressed that true Christianity requires a complete transformation rather than a partial commitment. “When you become a Christian, you must become a Christian perfectly,” he urged. “God, your Father, has no room for half measures. He has no room for lukewarmness.”

Quoting Revelation 3:15-16, Adeboye emphasized that God demands full dedication from His followers. “Whatever you do for Him, you must do it perfectly. When you worship Him, you must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

He concluded by calling for a significant change in how Christians approach their faith, saying, “From now on, your attitude to worshipping God must change. We cannot afford to offer anything less than our best to the One who is perfect in all His ways.”….Sêe_Morē
