Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has reacted to Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s statement that President Bola Tinubu is trying his best to tackle insecurity in Nigeria.
In an interview from 28:13 on With Chude, Obi stated that Pastor Adeboye remains a highly respected and revered religious leader. He added that the prayers of people like Adeboye have helped keep the country going.
Obi said Adeboye’s statement was correct because he only said President Tinubu is trying his best. However, he said the real question is whether Tinubu’s best is good enough for Nigeria’s current security challenges. He said he believes that President Tinubu is tired and should go home and rest.
