In a video shared by TV Platinum on Tuesday, June 2, Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Nigerian Senate, has given his take on the recent abductions in Oyo State.
Recently, armed gunmen attacked three schools across the Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State, which includes Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele, and Yawota Baptist schools, thereby abducting multiple teachers and pupils.
However, the Senate president, Godswill Akpabio, shared his condolences to the relatives of the victims, assuring them that efforts are being made by the current government in securing the release of the kidnapped victims.
He also mentioned that it might take a while to distinguish the shaft from the grains, and so if the security agencies move in to wipe out the terrorists, they might end up wiping out the victims as well.
