Father Mbaka, a prominent religious leader in Nigeria, has accused the country’s leadership of provoking a crisis through their treatment of the poor masses, particularly concerning the issue of minimum wage according to a report from Sahara Reporters.

This comes amid a backdrop of economic turmoil and widespread dissatisfaction with living standards.

Mbaka lamented that governors and lawmakers are amassing billions of naira as “sitting allowance, wardrobe allowance, newspaper allowance, and suffering allowance”.

“What is actually happening is the inhumanity of man to man, let us tell the truth. God is not happy with what is happening to the poor masses of Nigeria. The leaders are provoking crisis in nigeria over treatment of poor masses and they may not be able to carry when the thing comes.”
