Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has stated that he is not targeting his brother or his brother’s political associates
In a video Isaac shared on his Facebook page on Saturday, November 29, 2025, he said his attention was drawn to an interview in which Ayo Fayose accused him of intimidation and of targeting his friends, including FCT Minister Nyesom Wike and Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji
Isaac said that as an indigene of Ekiti State, he has every right to speak about issues in the state and the performance of the governor. He also said that as someone with major investments in Abuja, he has the right to question how the city is managed since Wike is the FCT minister.
Isaac said he is not attacking Ayo Fayose or his associates personally. He stated that he is only expressing his opinion on public issues, which is his right as a citizen.
In Isaac’s words: “My attention has been drawn to the interview granted by my brother the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, saying I am intimidating him and I am targeting his friends and associates. My brother that is not the true position of things. Ekiti State is my state, for the fact that you are from there and I am your brother does not mean I can’t talk about the happenings in Ekiti, the under-development in Ekiti and what is going on in Ekiti. You mentioned Wike and Oyebanji. Oyebanji is my governor the same way he is your governor, so I have every right in the world to say, ‘My Governor you are not working, please work for the people.
