In an interview from 7:39 with Worship Media TV, Seun Kuti, the son of late Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, stated that he is not afraid of online criticism or insults for expressing his opinions on public matters.
Seun said he is willing to face insults if that is the only consequence of expressing his views. He said online insults he receives are nothing compared to the persecution his family has experienced in the past. He stated that his grandmother was once thrown out from a window, and his father was repeatedly beaten and arrested in his presence.
