In a recent interview from 11:38 shared by Arise News, former Governor of Kano State, Kabiru Gaya, addressed concerns surrounding the internal disputes within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the legality of its recent convention.

Speaking during the programme, the senator expressed confidence in the actions taken by the party, despite ongoing legal challenges in various courts. He maintained that the ADC leadership acted within the provisions of the law and followed due process in organizing its convention.

“If the court nullifies our convention, we will find a solution, but it cannot do so because we followed the right track,” Gaya stated.

His remarks come amid a leadership crisis within the party, with some aggrieved members contesting the legitimacy of decisions taken at the convention. The disputes have led to multiple court cases, including matters pending before higher courts, raising questions about the stability of the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
