Legal scholar and human rights advocate Chidi Odinkalu has responded to recent remarks by William Ruto concerning Nigeria and President Bola Tinubu.

The reaction followed a widely circulated exchange in which Ruto was quoted as joking that Nigerians speak English in a way that can be so complex it might require translation to fully grasp.
