The former First Lady of Ondo state, Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu has taken to her official X account on Friday to react after court granted bail to human rights activist, Dele Farotimi.

According to Channels TV, a Magistrate Court sitting in Ado Ekiti has granted N30 million bail to the human rights activist.

In the judgement that was delivered, the court asked the human rights lawyer to provide two sureties.

Reacting, Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu posted a video of supporters hailing Dele Farotimi after the judgement of the court.

After sharing the video, the former First Lady stated that bail has been granted to the human rights activist. She said Dele Farotimi is not allowed to grant interviews during the pendency of the case.

According to Betty Anyanwu Akeredolu on her official page;

“Bail granted! 2 sureties in Ado Ekiti. International passport. No interview during the pendency of the case”.
