A video that was posted on the official X account of TRUST TV on May 6, 2026 has captured the moment political commentator, Prof Usman Yusuf was speaking about the former governor of Anambra state and the former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
This came after Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso defected from the African Democratic Congress, ADC to the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC.
In the video that surfaced online, Prof Usman Yusuf explained the reason why Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso left the African Democratic Congress. He said they left the party because they couldn’t compete with the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar.
He said Atiku Abubakar was stronger than Peter Obi and the former governor of Kano state.
