Demola Olanrewaju, the Senior Political Assistant to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has taken to his official X account on Friday, March 27, to speak about the death of the mother of the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
This came after it was announced that Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, the mother of Nasir El-Rufai has passed away.
According to ARISE NEWS, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai died in Egypt where she has been receiving treatment.
Reacting, Demola Olanrewaju said it is sad that the former governor of Kaduna state has been in detention for a long time. He said as it stands, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai may likely miss the burial ceremony of his mother who has just passed away.
According to Demola Olanrewaju on his official X account;
“It is sad that he spent all of Ramadan in the illegal custody of security agencies searching for any indictment and now his mother is dead, and he will likely miss her burial”. Read_More…
