In a recent interview from 7:37 shared by Trust TV, political scientist Abubakar Kari offered insight into the ongoing leadership crisis within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), highlighting its potential impact on Nigeria’s opposition politics ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Kari noted that the internal struggle for control of the party has created uncertainty, even as key actors continue to position themselves for upcoming primaries. Central to the dispute is the faction linked to former Senate President David Mark, whose leadership claim remains under legal scrutiny.
