According to a video from 11:18 posted on Channels TV, on Sunday July 12, 2026, Nollywood actress Maureen Solomon Okereke made clear that no film role would convince her to appear nude on screen, insisting that producers respect her boundaries or offer the part to someone else.
Okereke made the statement while discussing how streaming platforms have changed the demands placed on actors since her return to the industry.
She said she understood that the business had grown more competitive, with actors now expected to promote their own work and meet new production standards. Still, she said certain lines remained non-negotiable for her.
In her words, Okereke said, “Anything that will make me bare my body, no, I don’t think I will ever go to that side. Thank you very much. If you cannot restructure it, then keep your own,” she said.
