Popular Nollywood actor Shola Akintunde has revealed why he slapped an actress on a movie set, while also stating how the actress’s boyfriend tried to fight with him on the movie set.
According to the video from 23:14 that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomo TV during an interview, he disclosed that he slapped an actress on a movie set because he thought he had to slap her in order to make the movie scene believable to the viewers but that the actress’s boyfriend got angry and wanted to fight with him.
According to Shola Akintunde, he said, “When I joined the movie industry, I was taught that an actor has to make a movie in a way that the audience would see it as a reality. I slapped an actress on a movie set, her boyfriend got angry, and he wanted to fight me. My boss came to me and told me that I didn’t need to slap the actress, so I had to apologize to her. The actress sustained a minor injury on her hip, and immediately I saw the wound, I couldn’t continue because I was so scared.”
