Former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung, has openly questioned the integrity of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Josh Amupitan, citing personal experience working with him.

Dalung made the remarks during an interview from 18:09 on Trust TV, where he addressed ongoing controversies surrounding the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the role of electoral authorities in Nigeria. His comments come amid rising political tensions and debates about transparency and accountability in the country’s electoral system.

In the interview, Dalung said, “I know Amupitan very well. He’s somebody I have worked with closely. He doesn’t have integrity.” The former minister’s statement directly challenges the credibility of INEC’s leadership, raising concerns about impartiality in the management of electoral processes.

Dalung emphasized that his criticism is based on personal interactions and firsthand experience, rather than political speculation.
