Usman Bilyaminu, younger brother of a herder allegedly killed in Plateau State, has recounted the painful circumstances surrounding his sibling’s death, describing the incident as both sudden and unjustified.
Speaking during an interview from 0:19 on Trust TV, Bilyaminu narrated how his brother was reportedly attacked while carrying out his daily routine of tending to cattle. The killing is part of a series of violent incidents that have continued to raise concerns across Plateau State.
According to him, there was no warning or confrontation prior to the attack, as his brother had simply gone out to graze his cows before he was shot. “He is my brother. My biological brother. He went out to look after his cows and they just started shooting him. They killed him for no reason,” Bilyaminu said.
His account highlights the worsening insecurity in parts of Plateau, where herders and farmers have frequently been caught in cycles of violence. Residents in affected communities have continued to express fear over their safety, with many calling for stronger security presence and proactive measures to curb the attacks.
The incident has further intensified calls for justice and accountability, as families of victims demand answers over the repeated loss of lives. Community leaders have also urged authorities to investigate the killing thoroughly and bring those responsible to justice. Read_More…
