In a recent video from 4:17 shared on Facebook, Primate Elijah Ayodele spoke about the political future of former Senate President Ahmad Lawan, offering a warning regarding his governorship ambition in his home state.

In the video, Ayodele stated, “Every chance for you to become governor of your state, they will block it.” He explained that despite Lawan’s political experience and national exposure, his path to becoming a state governor could face significant resistance from political stakeholders and internal power structures.

Ayodele further emphasized that governorship races require strong grassroots connections, widespread local support, and carefully managed political alliances. He suggested that without these elements, even prominent figures like Lawan may struggle to secure the party ticket or win at the polls.
