Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and former presidential aide has taken to her official X handle to shower encomium on the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasiru El-Rufai and former minister for justice, Abubakar Malami. According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle, she pointed out that while the former governor’s calmness and courage were an inspirational, the former minister for justice was now a saint.
The African Democratic Congress, ADC was recently embroidered in internal conflicts as several members of the party jostled for relevance and leadership positions.
However, amid the conflicts, the ADC were gaining strength both numerically and national acceptance. This was according to Lauretta Onochie, one of the Chieftains of the ADC.
According to the lengthy message addressed to the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasiru El-Rufai which was published on her official X handle on Sunday April 11th, 2026 she made series of striking revelations that triggered massive public attention.
Nasiru El-Rufai, according to the erstwhile special adviser on media to former President Muhammadu Buhari, was a man of courage, strength, humility and calmness whose refusal to bow to pressure inspired everyone.
The former Kaduna governor, according to Lauretta Onochie, was locked away due to his refusal to identify with the APC or step aside from politics. His decision to join the ADC, according to Lauretta Onochie, angered the ruling party.
