According to a report by Trust TV from 4:33, on Saturday March 14, 2026, Tensions reached a boiling point in the Bachong community of Plateau State on Saturday as local authorities reportedly disrupted the mass burial of 11 victims recently killed by suspected armed herders.
The ceremony, intended to honor those lost in a string of brutal attacks, was thrown into chaos when the mortuary attendant at the local morgue was allegedly removed on the orders of the council chairman, preventing families from claiming the bodies of their loved ones.
Rev. Father Ezekiel Dachomo, a prominent Christian pastor and human rights activist, was present to support the grieving community.
Addressing the crowd, the Reverend delivered a scathing critique of both the local administration and the broader security failure.
“I know they have heard that I’m coming here,” Rev. Father Dachomo stated, acknowledging the high stakes of his visit. “Whoever has a hand instead of them to go and lock the bush to stop the flying terrorist to come and kill. They are using the power on us.”
The cleric described a sense of community helplessness against what he characterized as a coordinated assault.
Despite the physical and political obstacles, he urged the residents to remain calm and look toward a higher authority for justice. “Don’t worry, we are going to evoke the power that is supernatural,” he assured the mourners.
In a direct appeal for national intervention, Rev. Father Dachomo also turned his attention to the presidency. He suggested that “Cabals” within the government are stifling the President’s ability to protect the citizens of Plateau State.
“The truth must be told,” the Reverend declared. “Please pray for the president of the nation. The Cabals have a hand in this, which his hand is tight.” Read_More…
