A video that was posted on the official X account of Arise News has captured the moment the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Seriake Dickson was explaining what they did after they heard the vehicle of Peter Obi was attacked in Benue state.
In the video that surfaced online, Seriake Dickson stated that when the incident happened, they first instructed the spokesperson of the party, Osa Director and the National Chairman, Moses Cleopas to react.
Seriake Dickson, however, condemned the incident that happened in Benue state. He said everyone must be able to move freely and campaign in any state in the country.
According to Seriake Dickson;
“When it was brought to our notice, we directed the spokesman and the National Chairman to react promptly and they did so. The way these incidents have been going on, we read about it in Edo and in Benue state. These things are happening while campaigns have officially started”.
