General Anthony Atolagbe (rtd), former Sector Commander of Operation Safe Haven, has spoken about how some terrorists avoid being tracked by security forces.
Speaking in an interview from 5:46 with Arise TV, Gen Atolagbe said the military has electronic warfare teams whose job is to jam terrorists’ communications and intercept their radio signals.
General Atolagbe said some Boko Haram members were recently arrested and Starlink devices were found with them. He stated that the terrorists use Starlink devices to avoid the normal communication systems that the military’s jamming equipment can block
In General Atolagbe’s words: “In the theater we have some sections of electronic warfare team who are supposed to dominate the electromagnetic spectrum, to make sure that communication is jammed, you are able to intercept their radios.
