Solomon Dalung, a chieftain of the ADC, has argued that the legal principle of returning to status quo ante bellum, which the court pronounced on the ADC leadership dispute, is straightforward and widely understood even by people who don’t have formal education.

Speaking during an interview from 8:53 on Trust TV, Dalung used this statement to criticize INEC chairman Professor Joash Amupitan for his recent action in delisting David Mark as the authentic national chairman of the party from INEC’s portal following the court judgment.

In his words, “I mean, we’re all lawyers. The principle of return to status quo ante bellum is a legal theory that is taught from 100 levels. There’s nobody who has studied law that does not know and cannot interpret it.”
