Major General Henry Ayoola, former commander of Operation Safe Haven, has spoken about the true identity of the terrorist group widely known as Boko Haram.
In an interview from 19:16 with Channels Television, General Ayoola said that Boko Haram’s real name is Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad. He said this name translates to “The People of the Prophet, the Book, and Jihad.” He said this shows clearly the kind of terrorist group it is.
General Ayoola stated that the group is a jihadist organization. He said this fact has been deliberately hidden over time.
