Labour Party National Working Committee member of the Julius Abure faction, Abayomi Arabambi, has criticised former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi over his recent political conduct, saying Obi should focus on preparing for the 2027 general election instead of pursuing actions aimed at challenging the current administration while urging political leaders to uphold respect for public institutions and allow democratic processes to take their course.

In a video from 2:46 shared by TV Platinum, Arabambi argued that political leaders should demonstrate responsibility in both their public statements and personal conduct while maintaining that public office holders and former candidates have a duty to preserve the dignity of national institutions and avoid actions capable of creating unnecessary controversy in the political space.

“Imagine Peter Obi asking a policeman to drive him. He should have a driver. That is also an insult to the Nigerian Police Force. But you lied to Nigerians simply because you are just looking for a way to make sure you unseat Mr. President. You should wait for 2027.”
