The son of slain Akure technician, Abdulfatai Abiodun, has recounted the terrifying moments armed attackers allegedly broke into their home and killed his father, Idris Abiodun, while calling on the government to ensure those responsible face justice.

Speaking during an interview from 2:12 on TVC News, on Tuesday, 7 July, 2026, Abdulfatai narrated how the attackers forced their way into the house before confronting his father.

According to him, the deceased attempted to defend himself after one of the assailants allegedly tried to attack him with an axe, but he was eventually overpowered, dragged outside, and killed. The grieving son appealed to the authorities to ensure the suspects are prosecuted, insisting that justice must be served for the family.
