Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of actress Judy Austin, has shared details of spiritual warnings he claimed to have received during the troubled period of their marriage.
Speaking during an interview from 1:05:06 on the Honest Bunch Podcast, Obasi recounted how he sought spiritual help at different stages when the challenges in his marriage became overwhelming.
According to him, one of the incidents happened during a church crusade he attended with his wife.
Recalling the experience, Obasi said: “A pastor told me that my wife would destroy my life if I didn’t leave her.”
He explained that during the gathering, the minister allegedly singled out his wife and made disturbing statements concerning her spiritual condition.
According to Obasi, the pastor claimed there was a “big demon” inside her and warned that any man who was not spiritually strong enough could be destroyed by her.
The former husband said the incident left him deeply shaken and confused about the future of the marriage.
He further claimed that as tensions in the relationship continued to grow, he later consulted a traditional practitioner for guidance.
According to him, the traditionalist also warned him that his life was in danger and advised him either to perform certain rituals or completely leave the marriage.
Obasi said the repeated warnings increased his fears and reinforced his belief that the situation around him had become spiritually and emotionally dangerous.
The former husband made the revelations while reflecting on the events he believes contributed to the eventual collapse of his marriage and the personal trauma he says followed afterward.
