An Ogun State woman, Oluwatosin Bankole, has alleged that her second twin mysteriously disappeared after she gave birth, claiming that both the hospital where she delivered and her husband’s family know the whereabouts of the missing child.
In a video shared on X by PUNCH News, Bankole said she entered the hospital expecting to give birth to twins after several medical scans confirmed she was carrying two babies. However, she alleged that after undergoing surgery and regaining full consciousness, she was handed only one baby.
According to her, she distinctly remembers being told that two babies had been brought out during the delivery, but she was only allowed to see one.
“I knew two babies were brought out from me, but I only saw one,” she lamented, insisting that no satisfactory explanation has been given for the disappearance of the second child.
The distraught mother said her search for answers has continued for years, alleging that both the hospital and members of her husband’s family have remained silent or evasive whenever she demands an explanation.
Bankole further claimed that her mother-in-law had been aware throughout her pregnancy that medical scans showed she was carrying twins. She alleged that after the operation, she was told that the twins had somehow become one, an explanation she described as unbelievable.
She also accused her husband’s family of mistreating her shortly after the delivery. According to her, while she was still recovering three to four days after giving birth, she was allegedly assaulted by her mother-in-law and her husband’s younger sibling.
The woman maintained that she remains determined to uncover the truth about what happened to her alleged missing twin and has continued to seek answers from those she believes have information about the child’s whereabouts.
As of the time of filing this report, neither the hospital nor the family members accused by Bankole had publicly responded to the allegations….See More
