Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church Worldwide has unveiled plans for what is set to become the largest church facility globally during the Annual Youth Alive Convention (AYAC) 2024
Addressing members at the Faith Tabernacle Canaanland, Oyedepo emphasized that this ambitious project will be undertaken without any foreign aid or bank consultations.
“This church is building the biggest church facility known in the world without any foreign aid or consultation with any bank,” Oyedepo stated firmly. “The covenant works wherever the sun shines. We have never borrowed; we have never been in need.”
The cleric in his video sermon 1 hour 54 minutes 30 seconds, titled “Unveiling the Secret Behind the Empowerment for Wealth,” highlighted the church’s reliance on divine principles and self-sufficiency.
He referenced Romans 10:12, stressing that God’s promises of prosperity and health are available to all believers. “There is no respecter of person with God,” he noted, underscoring that spiritual and material prosperity are not mutually exclusive.
The Bishop detailed the church’s adherence to biblical covenants, which he claims have facilitated their financial independence and growth.
He drew parallels with figures such as Abraham, who was blessed materially while maintaining a close relationship with God. “We must exercise ourselves in the covenant of abundance to be empowered for wealth,” Oyedepo asserted, referring to 1 Timothy 4:8.
Describing the forthcoming facility as a “citadel of prosperity,” Oyedepo attributed the success of the church to its commitment to divine principles rather than worldly resources.
“God has built this citadel of prosperity by grace,” he said, stressing that their financial strategy has always been rooted in faith and obedience rather than external funding….Vìêw_Morē
