United States President Donald Trump has strongly defended his administration’s ongoing diplomatic engagements with Iran, promising that any final pact will be a good and proper one.

He simultaneously urged the American public to ignore detractors whom he characterized as “losers” criticizing an agreement they have not even seen.

According to a report by Al Jazeera on Sunday, May 24, 2026, Trump used his platform to draw a sharp contrast between his negotiation strategy and past American diplomatic efforts, asserting that his approach will permanently correct what he views as historical mistakes in handling Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

Taking to his social media network, Truth Social, the President sought to reassure his base while taking direct aim at the landmark 2015 nuclear agreement brokered under the Obama administration.

Trump heavily criticized the previous framework the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) arguing that it provided immense financial relief to Iran without establishing permanent safeguards.

The President argued that the current criticisms circulating in the media are entirely baseless, as they are built on assumptions and incomplete information rather than the actual terms being discussed behind closed doors.

Emphasizing that the architecture of the new agreement remains fluid, confidential, and incomplete, Trump dismissed his opponents’ commentary as premature political posturing.

“Our deal is the exact opposite, but nobody has seen it, or knows what it is. It isn’t even fully negotiated yet,” Trump added. “So don’t listen to the losers, who are critical about something they know nothing about. Unlike those before me who should have solved this problem many years ago, I don’t make bad deals!”
