Former Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Omotayo Alasoadura, has expressed support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election, describing him as the best candidate to continue leading Nigeria.
According to a report by THE NATION on Monday, May 25, 2026, Alasoadura said the Tinubu administration has introduced important reforms aimed at improving the country’s economy and expanding opportunities for citizens.
He noted that the student loan scheme has helped many young Nigerians gain access to higher education, especially those who previously struggled financially. He also stated that government policies have improved investor confidence and encouraged economic growth.
The former minister further highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects across different parts of the country, adding that the administration should be allowed to complete its reforms and development agenda.
