The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko has reacted to the comment that the former governor of Kano state, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso made about Peter Obi.
The reaction of Yunusa Tanko was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Monday, May 18, 2026.
This is coming after the former governor of Kano state said it’s not the former governor of Anambra state that gave Northeners ID Card. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso stated that the issue didn’t happen in Anambra state but in Imo state.
Here is what Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso said;
“I, Rabiu Kwankwaso, intervened and settled the issue. It was not Anambra, it was not Peter Obi, it was an issue in Imo state and I was the one who stepped in”.
However, Yunusa Tanko has now shared his thoughts after the report surfaced online. In a statement that he shared on his official X handle, he said he’s glad that the former governor of Kano state has clarified the issue.
