In a recent Church Program video from 01:37:05, David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, stirred emotional reactions among members of his congregation after publicly celebrating his wife and describing her as the person who loves him more than anyone else on earth.
The popular preacher made the remarks during a sermon focused on marriage, relationships, and family values, where he repeatedly emphasized the importance of appreciating one’s spouse.
Speaking passionately to the congregation, Ibiyeomie boldly declared that no member of his family, including his siblings, loves him as much as his wife does.
“No woman on earth loves me as my wife,” he said. “Not even my siblings. Nobody loves me as my wife.”
The cleric described his wife as his best friend and explained that genuine love in marriage goes beyond words and becomes evident through loyalty, support, and sacrifice.
According to him, many men fail in marriage because they do not properly appreciate or care for their wives despite expecting love and commitment in return.
“She is my best friend,” he said emotionally. “If your wife loves you, you will know.”
Ibiyeomie urged husbands to invest in their wives’ happiness by caring for them materially and emotionally instead of being selfish with money and attention.
“Buy for your wife,” he told the congregation. “Don’t buy things for yourself alone.”
In one of the lighter moments of the sermon, the pastor drew laughter from worshippers when he declared that there are no ugly people, insisting that appearance can improve when people are properly cared for.
“No ugly woman. No ugly man,” he said humorously. “Everybody is findable.”
The statement triggered loud laughter and applause inside the church auditorium as he continued encouraging men to support their wives’ appearance and wellbeing.
According to him, some husbands wrongly complain about their wives’ looks while refusing to invest in their welfare, clothing, or comfort.
“You can make your wife look beautiful,” he added. “Take care of her.”
The preacher also stressed that husbands and wives should see each other as partners and companions rather than rivals or burdens.
Ibiyeomie’s comments formed part of a broader teaching on marriage where he repeatedly encouraged couples to value loyalty, unity, and mutual respect within the home…Read_More…
